THE RUNNER UP EP - VJ ROSALES - CREDITS
So as I’m preparing to drop my album on iTunes this Sunday, I realize that it wouldn’t be possible to have done all this without AMAZING musicians to back me up. My vision was clear with this album, I definitely wanted a radio sound, live and electronic…and these kids DELIVERED! Here’s some fo-one-one on these amazing players, you won’t believe!
Michael Alvarado – Producer/Programming/Keys – YouTube.com/michaelalvaradomusic - I knew I would work well with Mike, seeing all his work on youtube and hearing the music off of his own solo EP. And then he married one of my good friends Carissa Rae, and then it was ON! I had to hang out with these two amazing people more often and decided to cut my album with them. :) Best decision of my life! Check out their stuff on YouTube as the pop duo “US”, you will not regret it.
One opportunity that this album offered was the chance to work with musicians from Nashville and beyond. And these musicians have worked with some greats…ZANG!
Nathan Thomas - twitter.com/nathantbass – Bass/Mixing/Additional Programming – recently went on tour as American Idol winner Scotty McCreery’s bassist. The tour included Brad Paisley and The Band Perry. You can also blame the AMAZING mixing on my single “Don’t Even Know Your Name” on him.
John DeNosky – Nashville Music Pros - Guitar/Additional Editing - Backstreet Boys, Rebecca St. James, & EA Sports. You’ll hear him kill a guitar solo in “Ya Crazy” and rhythm in “Over the Top.”
Steve Brewster – Brewbeat - Steve Brewster - Drums – Faith Hill, Toni Braxton, Michael W. Smith, & BeBe and CeCe Winans. “Don’t Even Know Your Name” groove is the BEST! Thanks Steve.
Paul Dateh - PaulDateh.com – violin/strings – best known for his violin dubstep and Top 40 covers on YouTube and collaborations with singer/songwriter David Choi. His playing on Runner Up is STUNNING. So good!
Dan Coutant – SR Mastering – mastering – US & Michael Alvarado – the only reason why all my tracks have a golden sound. Mastered and clean to the T!

So incredibly stoked that I got to work with VJ. Not only is he a wonderful writer and singer, but he’s an amazing person that we loved having around. As the producer, he made my job effortless. I’m so excited for him, and I’m super pumped for his upcoming release in a few days. Be sure to grab this on iTunes 11/18 :)
